1:10:29 the actual reason why the uncanny valley exists is because of not only other types of humans, but also because of disease. firstly there were other humans around so we had to be able to distinguish ourselves from them. secondly disease would usually change a person's physique due to the effects of it. for example, skin color, muscle atrophy, puffy eyes, ect. disease also killed early humans so much that we had to watch out for our own kind that was dead. so things that don't have that "spark of life" in them look wrong to us.
